Graded Hammer Standard (GHS) keyboard with matte black key tops
Yamaha's years of expertise in the manufacture of acoustic pianos has been used to create a keyboard that offers an exceptionally natural feel. The YDP-135R has a Graded Hammer action with keys that have a heavier touch in the low end and a lighter touch in the high end.

Advanced Wave Memory(AWM) Stereo Sampling
AWM (Advanced Wave Memory) is a sampling system which recreates sounds close to that of an acoustic instrument. By using digital sampling and filtering technology to record a Yamaha Concert Grand piano, AWM delivers a high-quality, spacious, stereo grand piano sound.

Variable Touch Sensitivity
Select the hard, medium or soft setting to match your playing style or finger strength. Turn off sensitivity for a fixed response setting, ideal when playing organ.

Three pedals
The built-in soft, sostenuto, and damper pedals complete the piano playing experience.

1-Track Recorder
The one-track sequencer allows you to record a single performance and play it back instantly. Ideal for review or to play along with, there's also a built-in metronome to help you stay in perfect time.

50 classic piano performances are stored in the piano for instant recall, and feature in the included music book, "50 Greats for the Piano" .These songs can be used for background music or as a learning reference.

YDP-135 has a compact and stylish design that fits perfectly in a wide range of environments. A sliding key cover is provided for when the instrument is not in use.
