While it’s strictly an entry-level instrument, we’ve selected the Mowbray Model 1 because it avoids the structural flaws common in most budget cellos. It’s a functional, no-frills "workhorse" designed to get a student through those first few years without the instrument fighting back.

Drawing on years of experience, we’ve ensured this range offers a reliable build and a surprisingly resonant low end for its class. To make sure it’s actually playable from day one, we perform a full professional setup—adjusting the pegs, bridge, and string height—so you aren't struggling with poor mechanics. It’s a complete, "plug-and-play" outfit that includes the bow, rosin, and case.
