The Yamaha NTX1 is a modern nylon-string electro-acoustic guitar designed for players who want classical tone with a slimmer, electric-style feel. Part of Yamaha’s acclaimed NX Series, the NTX1 is ideal for crossover players, live performers, and anyone seeking comfortable playability without sacrificing rich, warm sound.

Key Features

Slim, Comfortable Neck
Unlike traditional classical guitars, the NTX1 features a narrower nut width and slim neck profile, making it perfect for steel-string or electric guitarists transitioning to nylon strings.

Solid Sitka Spruce Top
A solid spruce top delivers clear articulation, excellent projection, and dynamic response — improving in tone as the guitar matures.

NATO/Okoume Back & Sides
These tonewoods add warmth and balance, complementing the bright clarity of the spruce top.

Cutaway Body Design
The single cutaway allows easy access to higher frets, ideal for solo work and modern fingerstyle playing.

Atmosfeel Pickup System
Yamaha’s innovative Atmosfeel system combines a piezo pickup, internal microphone, and body sensor for a natural, studio-quality amplified tone — perfect for stage and recording use.

Option To Purchase

If you’re hiring a musical instrument, you have the option to buy it later instead of returning it.

The purchase price shown below is before any deductions are applied.

How it works:

When you decide to buy:

  1. Contact us by phone or email.
  2. The purchase price is worked out by:
    • Taking the instrument’s selling price
    • Subtracting up to a maximum 6 months of hire payments
    • Subtracting your deposit
  3. You pay the remaining balance. The hire agreement ends and the instrument is yours.

Good to know:

Please note: This is not a hire purchase agreement. The purchase option applies for a maximum period of six months only, and no further payments will be deducted once this period has ended.
