The Yamaha P-45 digital piano is a popular and reliable choice for short-term hire, offering an authentic piano playing experience in a lightweight, portable design.

Featuring Yamaha’s Graded Hammer Standard (GHS) weighted keyboard, the P-45 provides a realistic piano touch, with heavier keys in the lower register and lighter keys in the higher notes. This makes it particularly suitable for beginners learning proper technique, as well as pianists needing a dependable instrument for practice or performance.

The P-45 uses Yamaha’s AWM stereo sampling, delivering a clear, expressive piano sound that works well for home practice, teaching environments, rehearsals, and small venues. Built-in speakers mean it’s ready to play straight out of the box, with no external amplification required for most uses.

Simple controls keep operation straightforward, while the compact, lightweight design makes the P-45 easy to transport, position, and store — ideal for temporary setups, events, schools, or short-term projects.

For hire customers, the Yamaha P-45 offers a balance of authentic feel, ease of use, and proven reliability, making it a practical and reassuring choice whether you need a piano for a few days, weeks, or longer.

Option To Purchase

If you’re hiring a musical instrument, you have the option to buy it later instead of returning it.

The purchase price shown below is before any deductions are applied.

How it works:

When you decide to buy:

  1. Contact us by phone or email.
  2. The purchase price is worked out by:
    • Taking the instrument’s selling price
    • Subtracting up to a maximum 6 months of hire payments
    • Subtracting your deposit
  3. You pay the remaining balance. The hire agreement ends and the instrument is yours.

Good to know:

Please note: This is not a hire purchase agreement. The purchase option applies for a maximum period of six months only, and no further payments will be deducted once this period has ended.
